Wild Harbour

Our beautiful Sydney Harbour has more to offer than just the City and Manly. There are parts that are truly wild and hence our name - Sydney Harbour Wild.

This tour reveals parts of the Harbour seldom seen and still virtually unchanged since Governor Phillip explored them in 1788. Join us as we go to places where Sydney may seem hundreds of miles away yet is actually all around us.

Tour Code: T001
Duration: 2 hours

Please contact for further details.

Harbour Islands

Circumnavigating the all islands of Sydney Harbour would take some time on most sightseeing cruises on Sydney Harbour - but not on "Investigator".

Join us for a fast-paced, but far from cursory cruise to parts of Sydney seldom seen up close and personal by its local inhabitants.

Tour Code: T002
Duration: 2 hours

Please contact for further details.

Harbour Battlefield

On the night of 31 May 1942, 3 Japanese Midget Submarines crept into Sydney Harbour. Over a period of 12 hours a naval battle ensued. This tour takes you back to that eventful night and the sites that featured in the attack.

Stopping at seven places in the harbour from Farm Cove to Watsons Bay, the battle is retold with the aid of historic photographs.

Tour Code: T003
Duration: 2 hours

This tour also runs as a WEA course.

Early Exploration

Almost as soon as the First Fleet arrived in Port Jackson, Royal Navy hydrographic surveyors commenced charting the harbour. Using copies of the original charts, we will navigate our way down Sydney Harbour.
Past and present hydrographic surveying and charting techniques will be explained and demonstrated.

This tour will appeal to all curious minds, collectors of antique maps and charts, and not to mention mariners, who wish to gain an insight into how their navigational charts are made. A practical demonstration of visual pilotage will also be given.

Tour Code: T007
Duration: 2 hours
